Projects and programmes

Over the years, the organisation’s sustainability and professional development have been supported by intensive, project-based cooperation activities in the fields of security and resilience, both in Estonia and internationally.


The organisation’s modus operandi integrates research, education, strategic communication and community engagement. Since 2011, the organisation has been developing its proud expertise and accumulating extensive experience in designing and implementing projects in the following areas:

Key Programmes and Initiatives

  • Programmes on National Defence and Security (since 2011)

“Guards of Estonia” – educational initiative improving understanding of Estonia’s defence system, civic responsibilities, and democratic values.

  • Resilience League International Schools and Seminars (since 2016)

Interdisciplinary international training events and simulation exercises focusing on cognitive security, strategic communication, disinformation, media literacy, crisis communication, and digital information ecosystems.

  • Applied Analytics on Resilience Factors (since 2018)

Interdisciplinary research and empirical measurement of the interacting social, psychological, and institutional factors that shape personal, community, and societal resilience in the Baltics, Ukraine and other regions.

  • Baltic Youth Resilience and Civil Preparedness Initiatives (since 2022)

A series of regional programmes aimed at strengthening civil resistance, social cohesion, civic education and preparedness among young people and local communities in the Baltic region and beyond.

  • Future Vision and Civic Engagement Platforms (since 2023)

Community initiatives that bring together youth, experts, media and policymakers to develop long-term visions for regional development and social cohesion, including the Ida-Viru Future Vision 2050 initiative.
